The fundamental theorem of arithmetic states that every integer greater than one is either a prime number itself or can be represented as the product of prime numbers. This representation is unique - there is only one possible prime factorization for each number. In this poster, the factorization is shown as a hierarchy of circles, starting from the largest prime factor to the smallest. At the deepest level in the hierarchy, N circles appear.
